Carolyn Overall

Carolyn Overall was born to the late James and Mary Overall on February 6, 1956, in Denver, Colorado. Carolyn graduated from George Washington High School in June of 1974. She furthered her education by earning her certification in banking from the American Institute of Banking. The majority of her working years were in the banking industry.

Carolyn was a creative problem solver, effective listener, and an interpersonal communicator, which resulted in her being selected as Supervisor in many of her positions. During her working years, because of her leadership skills, she was named as an Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank.

Carolyn was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed life and those she encircled. In her free time, she enjoyed the quality time shared with family and friends. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful lady. To know Carolyn was to love her.

She is preceded in death by her great-grand parents, Reverend John and Mattie Overall; her grandparents, James and Cassie Overall, Sr.; her parents; brother, Donald Jones; and her favorite aunts, Elnora “Beth” Williams and Vashti Overall Register.

Carolyn Renee Overall, passed away to receive her heavenly wings on Sunday, November 28, 2021, in Centennial, Colorado, after an extended illness. Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted cousin, Patricia (Carl) Hall of Minden, Louisiana; her best friend from childhood, Lizzie Stevenson of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Ernice “Neece” Rattler, Denver, Colorado; one brother, Ernest “Mann,” McCowan (Shannon) of Shreveport, Louisiana; her extended family, Elbert Mackey (Jacquie), Texas; Tyrone Willis, Louisiana; Yvonne (Charles) Bradley of California; and Cyril Willis of Louisiana; long-life friends, B.J. Warrior, Beverly Buckmon, Pat Stewart, Vivian Haynes, Patricia Bean, Jessie Wingo, Cindy McBride, Randy Sipple. Mozelle Carr, Sharon Major, and Donna Winchell.
