A Son A Brother An Uncle A Friend
Carlton Earl Jackson was born on November 24, 1956 to Opal and Morris Jackson in Denver Colorado. He was the second born out of five children in this family.
Carlton was a proud member of Denver’s Greater Park Hill Community and attended the Denver Public Schools, graduating from the legendary East High School.
Carlton had a great personality and made many friends. His best friends: Jimmy Lewis, Darryl Grant, Charles Davis, and Olney Alexander, remember Carlton always being the life of the party. They enjoyed basketball and baseball games together but really loved football. As a child Carlton had the privilege to watch the Denver Broncos play live which was one of the greatest memories him and his buddy Charles experienced together.
Carlton joined the United States Army and chose to commit his life to serving his country. He had many talents but used his Army experience to give him a greater knowledge in cultivating his career as a mechanic. He learned his greatest skill while stationed in Germany.
Carlton worked many years putting many hours into making sure families kept their wheels rolling. He was known for performing at his best on every job. Although Carlton faced many challenges, he never let it get the best of him. He always made away for himself and his ride or die, his dog, Paw. He found his greatest pleasure and place of peace when he spent time with Paw whom he cared for and loved dearly.
Carlton loved listening to music. The Funkadelic’s and Earth Wind and Fire were his favorite groups. We know Carlton is up in heaven letting God know He’s got to play some of these choice tunes.
To Know Carlton was to love Him!
He is proceeded in death by his parents Morris and Opal Jackson.
Carlton passed peacefully at home with Paw right by his side on October 16, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memory his precious son Paw, his siblings, Vernon (Renada) Jackson, Charles (Sharon) Jackson, Mocedess Jackson, Clifford (Terri) Jackson and his niece and caretaker Tamara Harris as well a host of uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
