Calvin Curvin

January 2, 1981 — November 24, 2016

Calvin Chester Curvin was born on January 2, 1980, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Wanda V. Lilly Curvin and Calvin Curvin, Jr. He received his early education in Aurora, Colorado, where he graduated from Smoky Hill High School. He also attended Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. He was a very happy and playful child. His smile and laugh was both charming and funny. He enjoyed watching James Bond and saying in his cute little boy voice, "my name is Bond, James Bond" after which, he would strike a pose and laugh his head off. Calvin accepted the Lord as his personal savior at a very early age and was baptized. His favorite scripture was found in Psalm 116:1-13, which is a Psalm of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. Calvin was a fun-loving young man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. He was unselfish and very giving. He was one who believed in helping those who needed his assistance. He was the type of man who found humor in most situations. He forged his own path and enjoyed life on his own terms. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, writing music, and acting. He loved his family and enjoyed the precious moments they all shared together. His love and memory will always and forever be in our hearts. Jehovah Jireh has perfected Calvin Chester Curvin. Calvin Chester Curvin departed this life on November 24, 2016, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his parents, Wanda V. Weathersby and Ric Weathersby; his sisters, Nicole Curvin, Burgandy (Steve) Hodge, Kelli (Jason) Easterly; his brothers, Michael Curvin, Marcus (Dione) Weathersby and Marvin (Roxanne) Newton; his devoted nephew, Isaac Curvin; other nephews, Steven Hodge, Jr. Kendall Easterly and Braylon Weathersby; his nieces, Gabrielle Easterly, London Hodge and Jade Weathersby; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
