Burl Campbell

On January 13, 1934, Mr. Burl Campbell was born to his parents, Caswell Campbell and Amanda Clemonts Campbell in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Burl Campbell was one of five children, two brothers, Norris (Mary) Campbell, Theawred (Evelyn) Campbell; three sisters, Katera (Willie) Hall, Matron (Alfred) Smith and Solona (Walter) Armstead, all of Ponce de Leon, Florida. Burl Campbell received his formal education and graduated in Ponce de Leon. He was a man of many trades but spent the majority of his life as a concierge at the most exquisite hotels in the Denver Metropolitan area. In 1963, Burl Campbell married Barbara J. Crockett and to this union three children were born, Rita, Arthur, and Michelle, later he was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Burl Campbell departed this life on November 18, 2013. Those left the cherish his memory, his loving wife; his 3 children; Rita S. Crockett, Arthur I. Crockett, Michelle D. Crockett; one brother, Norris (Mary) Campbell; two sisters, Matron (Alfred) Smith and Solona (Walter) Armstead, all of Ponce de Leon, Florida; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, all of Denver, Colorado; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends!
