Bridgit Williams

Bridgit Carol Williams (Affectionately known as "Bug") was born on December 14, 1961, in Denver Colorado to the parentage of the late Leotis Maynard Williams and Crystal Belle Lee Williams. Bridgit was the apple of her parent's eye and the beautiful baby sister of two dotting siblings that loved her with every bit of their hearts; Debra Denease Williams and Cheryl Gijuana Williams-Carter. Bridgit was the proud parent of two amazing sons, Tristan Charles Lee Williams and Jordan Christopher Williams, these handsome young Christian men were her reason for living and working so hard because she wanted them to have everything that this life had to offer. There were times, she even worked multiple jobs to ensure they had a great life. In September of 2001, she married Kenneth M. Hancock. Bridgit grew up in a loving family in Denver and at the tender age of 9, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was eagerly baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church by Pastor John B. Morris. She continued her Christian walk at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and finished her spirit-filled journey at the Potter's House of Denver; were she thoroughly enjoyed the praise, worship and the word she received. Bridgit graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She furthered her education by attending the Community College of Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Bridgit had a zeal for life that was second to none and she lived life to the fullest. She was a charismatic, witty and a fun loving person who kept you laughing and your spirits filled with joy and happiness. By profession, Bridgit was employed as an Executive Assistant and Client Relations Specialist. At the time of her death, she was employed with Nordstrom Bank in Centennial, Colorado. She is remembered as being hard-working, dedicated, precise, and a joy to work around. Bridgit was a great cook and a big source of help to her family. She was over protective and had an extreme love for family and she would give you the shirt off her back. She was always willing and available to assist with any projects or tasks and was an invaluable source to her mother when her dad's health began to decline. She made daily trips to encourage him and to help her mother. In the spirit of giving, Bridgit was an organ donor. Her generosity and love of life will allow her unselfish gift to help those who need it most. Bridgit Carol Williams departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on November 7, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her mother, Crystal B. Williams of Denver; two sons, Tristan C. Williams and Jordan C. Williams both of Denver; two sisters, Debra D. Williams of Dallas, TX and Cheryl G. Williams-Carter of Aurora; her nephew, William L. Carter of Albuquerque, NM; her nieces, Aspen G. Kelly of Dallas, TX, Whitney D. Carter of Aurora, CO, and a great niece, Crystal N. Castleberry of Aurora; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
