Bobbie Mcallister

Bobbie Jean McAllister was born on October 13, 1935, in Terrell, Texas to her parents, Newt Davis and Beatrice Wells Davis. She was the eighth child born in the family. The family relocated to Garland, Texas when Bobbie was very young. She received her early education in Garland, where she graduated from high school. Bobbie united in holy matrimony to Robert McAllister. The couple relocated to Denver, Colorado. She was the proud mother of four sons, Marvin, Billy, Donald and Byron. She was a mother whose pride and joy was in the care and nurture of her family. Robert preceded her in death in 1999. She was later blessed with two grandchildren, who were an additional source of joy and pride in her life. Bobbie was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed life and those she encircled. She was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed visiting the Colorado Mountains. She is also remembered going to garage sales with many of her family members. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful woman. To know Bobbie was to love her. Bobbie Jean McAllister departed this life on March 27, 2017, in Northglenn, Colorado. Those left to mourn her loss include 4 sons, Marvin Dennis, Billy Dennis, Donald Dennis and Byron Dennis, all of Denver; 1 sister, Betty F. Higgins of Garland, Texas; 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
