On November 4, 1941, Betty Jean was delivered into the loving arms of her parents Alton and Eleanora Thomas, in Opelousas, Louisiana. She was the third of six children born into this family.
Betty Jean was an attractive, stylish woman who loved to dress and going out dancing. She was an introvert who lived her life, raised her two sons and worked for many years at the Hilton Hotel in Housekeeping. She was quiet yet confident.
On October 20, 2019, Betty Jean departed this life. She is proceeded in death by her parents Alton and Eleanor Thomas, her son Kenneth Lynn, her brother Roosevelt Thomas. Left to cherish her memory is her son Kerry Thomas, daughter-in-law Shirleen Thomas, brothers Sherman, Frank Thomas, sisters Ruth Marie Thomas and Francis Pate, 24 grand and great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
