Barbara Ann Bonner was born June 21st, 1959 to her Parents Woody Bonner Sr and Georgia Carlton in Temple, Texas. She was the first to be born out of her Siblings Sharon Bonner, Vicki Bonner and Woody Bonner Jr. As a child Barbara took pride in being the oldest and loved to boss her Siblings around and was such an outgoing, happy individual.
She attended Manual High school in Denver, Co and graduated and continued her Studies at Colorado State University Pueblo in Pueblo, Co. She received her Bachelor Degree in Social Work where she worked at the Safe House Of Denver. Barbara Also Worked for Denver Public schools for over 20 years as a lunchroom manager. She took pride in helping all types of individuals as she had the biggest most beautiful smile on her face while doing it.
Ms. Barbara had her son Brendan Bonner in November of 1996. He was her pride and joy and would tell most people how proud she was of her baby on a daily basis. A few of her favorite memories she cherished with Brenden was watching him play basketball and Graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School.
She was the life of the party and always made everyone feel included and wanted everyone to enjoy their time they spent with her. Barbara spent her leisure time going to the hills to go gambling with family and friends. You could catch her every Sunday watching the Bronco games and cooking for her family and friends. You could find her and her best friends Mike Romero and Tony Romero always at basketball and softball games keeping score and cooking food. Ms. Barabara met Mr. Anthony Huff at a bus stop on their ways to work and got married in October of 2011.
She loved having dinner everyday after work with her Husband Anthony and son Brendan. Ms. Barbara had a heart of gold and would give anyone her last penny. She did not care if you were black, white, or purple she always had her arms open and welcomed everyone. Her laugh would fill a room with such love and comfort.
Ms. Barbara Ann Bonner died unexpectedly on September 27th, 2021 at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She is Survived by: Son Brendan Bonner Siblings Woody, Sharon, Vicki Bonner Nephews Cory Bonner Sr, Brent Bonner, Jonathan Bonner Nieces Diamond Bonner, Renaka Bonner, Alyssa Parrott, Jazmine Bonner Great Nephews Cory Bonner Jr, Julian Hernandez Brendan’s best friend Dangelo Fluckes and her extended family in Texas.
