The Story of An Angel
Baby Jessica Truth-Harmony Oquendo
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans:8:28
Baby Jessica Truth-Harmony Oquendo blessed her parents, Anthony Michael Oquendo and Jessica Breann Cason with her arrival on September 18, 2023, in Aurora, Colorado. She was the second child born in the family. She had one brother, Darryl who loved and cherished the special moments they shared together. She had a smile that would light up any room. She had the brightest eyes as she watched her surroundings. She loved listening to music and reacted with joy, when she heard the sounds.
Baby Jessica loved playing with her father. She was the apple in his eye. She loved her mother and was indeed loved by her mother. The same love was reciprocated by her brother. The family shared many happy and memorable moments together.
Baby Jessica touched lives of all who had the distinct pleasure of knowing her. She was the world of her parents, and they would not wish the pain of loss on any parent. They pray for peace and understanding during this difficult time. In 2 Corinthians, we find this recorded word, “But we are confident, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” Today, we bow in humble submission to our Lord, who is too wise to error and too just to make a mistake and we rest in the assurance that Baby Jessica has gone from Labor to Reward. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this beautiful baby girl, whose favorite word or sound as “ugh”
Baby Jessica Truth-Harmony Oquendo departed this life on December 4, 2023, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her parents, Jessica B. Cason and Anthony M. Oquendo; her brother, Darryl J. Cason, all of Denver, Colorado; her grandparents, Jeffery L. and Martina Cason; her great grandmother, Edna Allen, all of Des Moines, Iowa; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
