The life of Annetta LaVon Watkins began when she blessed her parents, Janetta Louise Waller and William David Watkins with her birth on October 4, 1990, in Aurora, Colorado. She was the fourth of six children born in the family. She was the younger sister to Larry, Stephanie and Jamar and the older sister of Kevin and Asia. She was affectionately called "Netta" by family and friends and by those who best knew her. As a child, she was boisterous, witty and adventurous. Annetta received her formal education in Denver. She loved going to school and often came home telling everyone what she had learned and experienced during the day. She excelled academically and had a personality that made it easy to make lots of friends. Annetta was extremely close to her family and shared a special closeness with her beloved Aunt April. She was also close to her cousins, Beatrice, Aquilla, Clifford and Dajuan from Omaha, Nebraska. Annetta was a young lady who loved life and those she encircled. She carried a jovial personality and loved to laugh and play. Those who knew her best, knew she had a distinct laugh that was sometime a soft giggle mixed with a grunt. Her laugh was distinct and unique to her alone. As an adult, she was as brilliant as a diamond. She was full of potential, friendly, congenial, mellow and easy going. She lived and loved and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of having their hearts touched by her vivacious spirit. Rest in peace baby girl…, diamonds are forever. Annetta LaVon Watkins departed this life on December 26, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her mother, Janetta L.
