Andrea Rhonnett Johnson was born on July 19, 1977, in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Eugene Wilkins and Danett Scott. She wasthe first born in the family. She has three siblings, Dayla "Shak", Lyndou and Solomon. She was raised in a loving, happy and blessed environment. She shared a special closeness with her Uncle Jimmy. There bond was one of love and understanding. She was deeply saddened by his passing and felt a sense of loneliness and depression. Andrea received her formal education in Denver and graduated from East High School. On June 17, 2008, Andrea married Barry Staten. They first met in Denver in 2005. Barry fondly remembers her laugh and the special times they shared together. To this union, a daughter, Beverly was born. She was also the proud mother of Jonathan and Simone. She was a caring and nurturing wife and mother. The family shared many happy and precious moments together. Andrea was a woman of talent. She has worked in several different places of employment. She has worked in Sales, Cosmetology, doing hair and nails, legal services as a Paralegal and she has worked as a Bounty Hunter. In every place worked, she is remembered as being straightforward and giving her 100 percent in performing assigned task and duties. A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Andrea has studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and most recently, she attended services with her husband at Agape Christian Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Robert Woolfolk. She truly believed in having a relationship with our Lord and Savior. Andrea was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed life and those she encircled. In her free time, she enjoyed making others laugh. She had a magnetic personality which could hold a crowd in captivation. Her closest friend, Shawn has known each other since she was seven. The two shared many commonalities and the camaraderie's were genuine and never ending. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful woman. To know Andrea was to love her. Andrea Rhonnett Johnson departed this life on July 18, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her loving and devoted husband, Barry J. Staten; 1 son, Jonathan W. Johnson; two daughters, Simone Scott and Beverly A. Staten; her parents, Eugene Wilkins and Danett (Larry) Scott-Johnson all of Denver; her siblings, Dayla "Shak" Scott, Lyndou Scott (Marcus), and Solomon Scott; her grandmother, Ann Brown of Denver and host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
