Alaya Mayfield

November 27, 2015 — July 18, 2018

Baby Alaya Naomi Brielle Mayfield was born on November 27, 2015, in Aurora, Colorado to her parents, William Lee Mayfield and Brittany Brionna Copeland. She was the third child born in the family. She was blessed to have two brothers, Kaden, Noah, and a sister, Lanova. She is remembered as loving to hold your face in her hands for kisses. A fond memory was that of Alaya and her dad dancing around the room and he turned up the bass, which scared her and she fell but popped right back up. Alaya loved worshipping with family and friends at New Hope Baptist Church. She looked forward to attending regularly. She also loved going to the park, getting her nails done and spending quality time with her mom, dad, and siblings. Alaya in her own right was an upcoming Diva with an attitude all her own. She was a precious and smart little girl, who would light any room she entered. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this sweet and beautiful Angel... To know Alaya was to love her. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, And cherished memories never fade Because a loved one’s gone. . . Those we love can never be more than a thought apart For as long as there is memory, They’ll live on in the heart. Baby Alaya Naomi Brielle Mayfield departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on July 18, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her parents, William Lee Mayfield and Brittany Brionna Copeland both of Denver, Colorado. 2 brothers, Kaden L. Mayfield, and Noah E. Mayfield; 1 sister, Lanova Mayfield, all of Denver, Colorado; her grandparents, Angela D. Whitmill, Clifford J. Mayfield, Sharnetta B. Williams, all of Denver, Colorado and Bradley Colemen of Baltimore, Maryland; her great grandparents, Archie L Whitmill, Robert Copeland, all of Denver, Colorado, and Pamela Youngblood of Baltimore, Maryland; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
