Obituary

Deacon Michael Andre Pippins was born September 18, 1962 in France to Earl C. Pippins and Josephine D. Pippins. He received his heavenly reward on August 8, 2020.

Michael grew up in Upper Marlboro, MD. He attended Central High School in Seat Pleasant, MD. He joined the Air Force in 1981and served his country faithfully for fifteen years. Michael was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. He accepted Christ early in his life.

Michael met the love of his life, Lesia L. Hargrove, while in the Air Force and they married on July 15, 1986. From this union was born Michael Anthony, Malesia Dawn, Mariah Alexandria, and Marcus Denzel Pippins. They moved to Colorado in 1993 for a military assignment.

Michael became an ordained deacon of the church in 2004. He was a man of faith who loved the Lord. He attended Antioch Community Church of Denver. He was a servant to everyone. Whatever the church needed he did. Preaching, teaching or taking communion to the sick, he filled in to do anything that was required of the church without hesitation. He truly lived out his calling.

Michael was known for his inquisitive mind, strong family values, Cheshire cat smile, and was devoted to being a role model to all. He challenged your thinking and pushed you to be and do your best. Michael is remembered as being a great and irreplaceable man. His love was endless for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Josephine and he leaves to cherish fond memories: his loving and devoted wife Lesia; daughters-Malesia and Mariah; sons-Michael (Amanda) and Marcus; father-Earl Pippins; sister-Katrina Pippins; brother-Anthony Pippins and three grandchildren-Brooklynn, Janae, and Malakai and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and his dogs Bella and Romo.

Michael leaves a legacy of faith, family and love. Those that knew him loved and adored him. We will miss him so much!
