The life of Deeanna Lavera Wynia began when she was born on October 1st, 1961, in Denver, Colorado to her mother, the late Alta Beatrice Robinson. She was raised for a short time by her grandparents, the late Herman (Poppy) Crider and Mary Crider. She later rejoined her mother and continued to grow up surrounded by her sisters, Gail Lynn Zuetlau and Tammy Lea Wigginton, until such time as she became married and began her own family. Deeanna was a homemaker whose pride and joy was to take care of others. She was the matriarch of not only her immediate family, but also of her extended family, and many others as well. She raised five children of her own, and fostered many others as need arouse. Some of her "foster children" include: Cassie Marie Wigginton (Niece), Jessica Whitlock (Daughter of Deeanna's late Friend, Donna Whitlock), Kyle Hester (Friend of son, Todd), Christopher Knoblauch (friend of son, Todd), Ladonna Vaefaga (daughter in law), and many others who strayed into her residence at some point or another. She loved getting the entire family together for holidays, no matter how messy things got. She spent her spare time tending to her garden and plants, painting rocks, scrapbooking, and spending time with loved ones. Deeanna was an unforgettable woman. In her short time, she touched the lives of so many people, from all walks of life. Deeanna loved everyone. She did not discriminate nor judge anyone for their actions or wrong doings. She would always lend a helping hand no matter the situation, no matter the recipient. "The most valuable virtue I learned from my mom was to love people when they deserved it the least because that's when they need it the most." – Amber She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind her a legacy of love and understanding, which sets precedent for those who follow behind her. Deeanna Lavera Wynia departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on September, 13, 2013, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to mourn her loss include her five children: Mario T. Lopez, Christina E. Lopez, Amber S. Wynia, Renee M. Wynia, & Todd N. Wynia, her sisters: Gail L. Zuetlau & Tammy L.
