Born in: Denver, CO
Resided in: Denver, Colorado

Telesha Michelle Miles was born in Denver, Colorado on February 7, 1971, to Ms. Beverly Jean Jackson. As a native of Colorado, Teleshia enjoyed many of the advantages of growing up in this colorful, Rocky Mountains State, affectionately called, “The Mile-High City”. As a child, Telesha always talked about riding the roller coasters at Denver’s most famous Eliches Gardens.

During a brief period in her life, Telesha and her family lived in San Antonio, Texas, where she completed her formal education.

After returning to Colorado, she enjoyed working for the Pepsi Center where she had the opportunity to meet many people.  She also worked for the Denver Peoples Fair in sales, and as a cook and cleaner.  She loved the hustle and bustle of working around lots of people.

Telesha enjoyed life to the fullest.  She always found time to root for her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, while relaxing by the pool watching the Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal.  She enjoyed eating tacos, which was her favorite food.

Telesha’s greatest joy was spending time with her precious grandchildren. As a Child of God, Telesha was always found standing on her favorite scripture:

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” ~ Psalms 23:4.

Telesha leaves behind many precious memories and cherished times that each of us will remember.

Telesha Michelle Miles departed this life on January 19, 2019, in Denver, Colorado.  She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, her loving husband, Ananias Bryant; five beautiful children, Jamal Miles, Shayla Hinton, Cierra Miles, Mayjia Miles, Ananis Bryant; two beautiful grandchildren, Sahara and Timothy; her precious mother, Beverly Hicks, all of Colorado; one brother, Stephen Hicks; one grandmother, Roberta Jackson; one aunt, Mary Jackson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

  1. To the Family and Friends of : Telesha Michelle Miles

Please allow me to express my condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. The pain and sorrow experienced during this difficult time can be overwhelming. However, I am often comforted by the words found in God’s word, the Bible. For instance, when grieving the loss of his dear friend Lazarus, the Bible reports that “Jesus gave way to tears.” (John 11:35). What is even more comforting is the fact that Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, and so like Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters, the Bible expresses the hope of the resurrection whereby we may see our loved ones again. (Read John 11:38-44; 5:28, 29). What a marvelous hope.

May Jehovah God grant you peace during this time and provide comfort for you and your loved ones.

  2. Telesha,
My heart breaks for you. I’m at a loss with words. I just saw you a little more than a month ago when I gave you a ride home. I’ll remember your smile from that day and our last conversation. These words that I often share with others while I’m in the ministry brings me great hope.

    Revelation 21: 3, 4
With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

  3. Cousin Telesha,
We allowed time to get between us and our last words were not the best. It does not mean you and the kids were not in my thoughts.
I will hold on to the times we had, even when we were getting in trouble at grandma’s!
I can’t get your childhood song out of my head, Rufus & Chaka Khan – Sweet Thing “I will love you anyway. Even if you cannot stay…..
I love you and will forever have you in my heart.

To my little cousins, we are here for you! May you find inner peace to warm your souls.

    Much Love,
