  5. Aunt Ruby was a pillar in our family. She had a laugh and smile that would light up any room. She was an artist, with her sewing creations being her art. She had no issues with letting you know that God came first in her life.

I will miss my aunt. My mother, her only sister, looked up to and adored her big sister. We looked forward to our yearly visit from aunt Ruby. It allowed us to cater to her and shower her with the love that she was so worthy of.

She loved coming back to Ohio to see what had changed and what was still there. I loved listening to her and her siblings reminiscing about their pasts.

    I cherish those memories.

    • Aunt Ruby was a saint and such a sweetheart! She was always, always smiling. She’s up there hanging out with her siblings and in laws and no longer in pain. I firmly believe that God has accepted her with open arms for all the good she has done while she was here on this earth. May our Lord bless and comfort you all during this time of grief. Love you Aunt Ruby!
