  1. This is so surreal. Life brings us so many challenges and this is one challenge that is extremely hard to swallow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Waters family. May God comfort you during this time. Rest in heaven, JJ. You will be missed by so many.
    Ray & Gretchen Clemmons

  2. So sorry for your loss. Revelation 21:4 read: “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things will have passed away.” Yes, soon we will no longer pain from losing a loved one to death. Please find some comfort from this, in your time of need.

  4. My condolences to the Walters family (Gerald and Charlotte). I know this is a difficult time for you two. Just know that you have friends that are here for you. Keeping you lefted up in prayer.
    Jean to you,
    Claire Hay

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time. “But those who die in the Lord will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead.”(Isaiah 26:19). May God give you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

  6. Such a honor to had shared in your life, if only by your beautiful wife and children. Rest in paradise my dear brother.

Sissy, soldier on as only your king would have you do. I love you deeply!

  7. Speechless, Heartbroken, disbelief and devastation is whats within me. I cant believe im fixing my brain around this. I cant do this man. This aint right. Love ya man. Rest Easy

  8. Memorial Day weekend at the family gathering which you and your lovely wife host annually. We had a moment to chat about your family, and your calling to God as you were flipping dogs waiting on everyone, that were on CP time to show up. LOL!! I will cherish that moment forever.

  9. I pray that the Lord gives the Waters family peace and understanding in their time of loss, I too will miss my Brother in Christ. I still remember like it was yesterday when we were at work in high rise talking about the Lord, but I smile because this indeed is a home going for a soldier in the army of the Lord.

  10. My sincere condolences to the Waters Jr. family and Charlotte and Gerald. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find peace in the memories that you will forever have of your love one.

  11. Gerald aka Big Timer, I was truly Blessed to have known you and your wonderful soulmate, wife Chanel and the children. You were like a brother to me I’m still having a hard time grasping the thought that you’re gone. I have to believe you were called home because the Lord has a job for you in his kingdom. I will always remember seeing you at the Cat house sharing the Love of Jesus and keeping it real 100!! I will continue to pray for your family during this difficult time while you continue to watch over them. Love ya Waters Family

  12. Dear Chanel and Family,
There are many times in our lives when everything seems hopeless and lost. We fall ill; adversity descends upon us; fear overwhelms us; or we experience the pain of death’s final separation. For God is with me and you will get through it. MAY YOU HAVE PEACE ALWAYS.

” Because of the LORD’S great love we are not consumed, for His compassion never fails. ”
    Lamentations 3:22

My Condolences, also so sorry I could not be there. Love Auntie Michelle W.

  13. My sympathies to the Waters family. Gerald always kept it real with me and I always appreciated that! Former CO worker, union member, and friend! Our Black Lake trip was fun! Rest in Paradise
