Born in: McAllen, TX
Resided in: Aurora, CO

As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully.
She made things precious by her touch; her selfless love lives on in each of us.
The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none.
Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end.

Carolynn Elizabeth Manuel was born on November 14, 1937, in McAllen, Texas to her parents, Spencer Murray Boyd and Jennie V. Anderson Boyd. She was the only child born to this union. She grew with a close and loving bond with her mother. She wanted to be the best daughter she could be.

The family eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado and Carolynn graduated from Manual High School in 1956. On April 23, 1961, she united in holy matrimony to Carl Manuel, Jr. To this union, Mark, Marshall, Ricardo, Rodger, and Carl were born. She was a loving and wife and mother, who took great pride in the care and nurture of her family. Carl preceded her in death in 1972. She later blessed with thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, who were an additional source of joy and pride in her life. The family shared many happy and precious moments together.

By profession, Carolynn was a Clerk Typist for the Air Force and Accounting Center in Denver, Colorado. She was hard-working, dedicated and performed all her duties with a spirit of excellence. She was admired and respected by her coworkers and the management team.

A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Carolynn was a member of the All Nations Church of God In Christ under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Phillip Porter. She loved her church and her church family. She truly believed in the power of prayer and that everyone needed to have the right relationship with the Lord. She is remembered as being a Teacher and Mentor to many who were fortunate enough to cross paths with this kind and wonderful woman, who was God fearing, sweet, caring, a wonderful teacher and counselor. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this strong woman of God. To know Carolynn was to love her.

Carolynn Elizabeth Manuel departed this life to the Lords embrace on October 16, 2019, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include 5 sons, Mark S. (Molly) Manuel Marshall S. Manuel, Ricardo E. Manuel, Rodger E. Manuel, and Carl A.
